Although rare, accidents do happen even while We are on vacation. Historically, this was managed with a big security deposit, which can lead to very awkward and unpleasant conversations when the vacation rental manager needed to withhold deposit damages.  With Damage Waiver, accidental damage from a guest is covered unless it is specifically excluded such as but not limited to smoking inside the unit, intentional damage. pet damage, and willful violations of house Rules.  Guest is responsible for damage not covered by the damage waive and for amounts exceeding $3,000.  Final claims subject to approval from underwriter.
